The world’s largest mobile advertising agency, AdMob, have recently published their mobile ad network data on the iPhone. During the year of service they have shown about 250 million ads. The greatest number of entries came from the US, Philippines, Great Britain and France.
It’s quite remarkable that the dynamics of growth was up to 32% per month. Thus, 39.1 million ads were served in May and in June their number was already 51.8 million. The fantastic growth rate proves that the iPhone’s web-surfing capabilities are claimed by users, which leads to the further growth of mobile advertising.
The company also offer location-based services (LBS). Using Google Map and GPS, the potential customer can get the info about the stores located nearby. Thus, the abilities of the new iPhone and other gadgets equipped with GPS bring vendors and customers even closer to each other.
