The gadget will be available in black, dark red and silver casings. Such a conclusion may be drawn after looking at the new photos published on the Swisscom site. Theoretically,  they are to be published shortly as part of iPhone’s ongoing advertising campaign.

    The existence of an upcoming 3G version iPhone has quite long been rumored around the net. The model is expected to possess a design somewhat different from the original device. There have been speculations even about iPhone sliders and clamshells. For the time being no official statement has been made by Apple though. This means that the information from Swisscom can equally be considered least to say unofficial. To find out all the truth we have to do nothing but wait till WWDC 2008.
